Bricker-Price Block is pleased to announce the schedule for our 2022 Kid’s Club Summer Camps! Our camps are available to kids from preschool through 8th grade on Tuesday, Thursdays and some Wednesdays! Camps are run by local instructors and geared toward specific age groups. Our full day camps run from 9 AM – 3 PM for children 9 and older. Our half day camps are for our preschool to second graders, and those camps run from 9 AM to Noon or Noon to 3 PM.

ALL LUNCHES AND SNACKS are included in the camp fee. Camp fees are $35 for full day camps and $30 for half day camps. Check our full schedule BELOW!

DISCOUNTS + SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

If you sign up for multiple camps (2 or more) you are eligible for a 20% discount on every camp you register for. Please use the code DISCOUNT at registration.

Scholarships are also available for families that fall within the 250th percentile of the Federal Poverty Line. If you qualify based on the graph below, please use the code SCHOLARSHIP at registration. You will not need to show proof of income.

FEAR FACTOR CAMP

Ages: 9-13

JUNE 7th | 9 AM – 3 PM: Do you have what it takes? Have you heard of the show Fear Factor? At this camp you will compete in gross & bizzare challenges all day!

MOUSETRAP CARS CAMP

Ages: 9-13

JUNE 9TH | 9 AM – 3 PM: We feel the need… the need for SPEED! Using Newton’s Three Laws, kids will design, construct, and race cars powered by the force of a mousetrap spring. Through trial and error, campers will engineer cars to travel at various speeds and distances.

JUNIOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACADEMY

Ages: 7-12

JUNE 14 | 9 AM – 3 PM Campers will learn all about Emergency management and how it supports the community. This includes interacting with public safety (police/fire/ems), writing a plan to prepare your household, and understanding and tracking weather patterns. We will fly the EMA drone and do a search and rescue exercise!

NASA ASTRO CAMP®

Ages: 9-13

JUNE 16th | 9 AM – 3 PM: NASA Astro Camp® is an opportunity to take part in NASA STEM lessons! The goal of Astro Camp® is to give all youth the chance to get involved in and experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) — and to inspire future astronauts and engineers to learn about space with NASA unique activities.

AUTHOR ACADEMY: Morning Session

Ages: 5-8

JUNE 21st | 9 AM – NOON: Spend the morning digging into what it takes to make a book. Kids will have a chance to hear from professional authors, write & illustrate their own book(s), and see what it takes to go from idea to bookshelf. At the end, our budding authors will have the chance to share their creations with their peers, parents, and locals! *Parents, please plan on coming 15 minutes before camp ends for a chance to hear from your author and their friends.*

VEX IQ ROBOTICS CAMP

Ages: 9-13

JULY 7TH | 9 AM – 3 PM: Whether this is your first robot build or you are returning for a challenge, join us for a day of fun with our VEX IQ Robots. Teams will work together to customize their robots and compete in various challenges.

Campers will begin the day with a lesson on the park’s resident wildlife and leave no trace before heading outside to explore the park. Activities will include hiking, bird watching, and creek stomping. Prepare to get wet from head to toe!

*Campers will be bussed to and from Pammel Park from Bricker-Price Block.

GIRLS WITH IDEAS CAMP

Ages: 9-13

JULY 14th | 9 AM – 3 PM: Girls with Ideas become Women with Vision! Come, be creative, hang out with girls your age, discover your unique leadership abilities, gain confidence, and put your skills into action through project based learning that will benefit our very own Earlham community! We have a jammed packed day of fun and activities planned…you won’t want to miss out!

SCIENCE MATTERS: SOLIDS, LIQUIDS & GASES… OH MY!

JULY 26 | 9 AM – NOON: A hands-on approach to learning about the three states of matter. Think like a scientist while observing, predicting, and exploring topics around solids, liquids, and gases.

CHIA PET CAMP

Ages: 5-8

JULY 26th | NOON – 3 PM: CHA, CHA, CHA, CHIA! Create your own chia pets! Care for your pet at home, and after a few weeks you’ll be able to trim your pet’s hair.

DO-RE-MI AND RING THOSE BELLS CAMP: Morning Session

Ages: 7-10

JULY 28th | 9 AM – NOON: Participants will spend the morning learning about the basic music notes by playing handbells and singing some simple children’s songs.

CREATE YOUR OWN FAIRY GARDEN CAMP: Afternoon Session

Ages: 5-8

JULY 28th | NOON – 3 PM: You’ll be able to bring the magic home after you create your own mini fairy garden at this camp! We will supply every miniature thing you need!

HOW TO BREAK A WORLD RECORD CAMP

Ages: 9-13

AUGUST 2nd | 9 AM – 3 PM: We think our campers are the best in the WORLD. Let’s prove it! Kids will work independently and in teams to to attempt to break several different world records.

PLAY IN A DAY

Ages: 5-8

AUGUST 4th | 9 AM – NOON: In just one morning, young performers will create their own short production to present to family and friends. Participants will explore character development and stage movement while developing their confidence and stage presence.

TRASH TO TREASURE CAMP: Afternoon Session

Ages: 5-8

AUGUST 4th | NOON – 3 PM: They say “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Campers will upcycle everyday objects into creative masterpieces at this one of a kind camp!
