June Camp Descriptions:

Spend time learning different tie dye techniques! Kids will have the opportunity to add colorful tie dye to their white garments and tie dye their darker garments with bleach.

Spend time digging into what it takes to make a book. Kids will have a chance to hear from professional authors, write and illustrate their own book(s), and see what it takes to go from idea to bookshelf. At the end, our budding authors will have the chance to share their creations with their peers, parents and guardians!

Take to the skies with mini drones! Housing a thrilling, hands-on aerial robotics platform, this camp is the perfect introduction to the world of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

July Camp Descriptions:

Campers will learn all about Emergency Management, and how it supports the community. This includes interacting with public safety (police/fire/ems), writing a plan to prepare your household, and understanding and tracking weather patterns. We will also fly drones and do a search and rescue exercise!

Whether this is your first robot build or you are returning for a challenge, join us for a camp with our VEX IQ Robots. Teams will work together to build and customize their robots and compete in various challenges.

Get a sneak peak at what it’s like to be in a musical! You’ll play some theater games, learn a short dance routine, belt out some tunes and even create part of a costume! Anyone who joins us will be invited back to perform the same song in the Earlham Drama Department’s fall show on Sunday, November 5th!

Using “The Rainbow Fish” as a starting point, kids will become an architect and design a stained glass window for an underwater castle for the rainbow fish and his friends. Along the way, we’ll learn a bit about fractions!

Kids will explore basic geometric shapes through the stories, Square, Triangle and Circle and many hands-on activities. Each person will be able to create a shape to share with the group.

Through books, games, crafts and more, our 4 & 5 year olds will get a camp of their own! With all things dinosaur, kids will experience hands-on learning, designed for preschool and kindergartners.

In this STEM-Computer Science camp, kids will read about the adventures of Girl and Dragon, before putting their skills to the test through coding and robots, engineering and design, and math! No coding experience? No problem! By the end of camp, we will all be coding experts!

We will hike through the ancient oak woodlands and investigate the ecological effects of the 2022 tornado. Kiddos will journey across the Devil’s Backbone Ridge to the Middle River and historic ford. The day will end with an old-fashion creek stomp through the water!

August Camp Descriptions:
