After-School Programming

Making the Transition from School to Home a Little Easier.

The school day ends, but the work day isn't over yet.

The Bricker-Price Block After-School Program is designed to give Earlham elementary students a safe, welcoming place to spend their afternoons while helping families make the transition from school to home a little easier.

From the time school lets out until 5:30 PM, kids will have time to unwind, connect with friends, explore their interests, get homework done, and enjoy activities in a supportive environment with caring adults.

It's more than just something to do after school. It's a place to spend the afternoon where kids feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to be themselves.

Program Details

Semester: August 24, 2026 – January 15, 2027

Who Can Attend: Kindergarten through 5th grade students enrolled in the Earlham Community School District

Schedule: Monday–Friday on all scheduled school days

Hours: Immediately after school until 5:30 PM

*The program will also be available on early dismissal days.

Program Closures

The program is closed:

On professional development days
On days when school is not in session
When the Earlham Community School District closes due to inclement weather

We know the hours between the end of the school day and heading home can look different for every family.

Maybe you're still at work. Maybe you have errands to run. Maybe you need a little more time before the evening gets started. Our goal is to make those hours easier!

While you're finishing your day, your child can spend their afternoon playing, creating, learning, reading, and connecting with friends in a safe and supportive environment.
