About our Summer Camps

Our Camp Experience​

Since 2019, we’ve hosted a summer of Kids Club Summer Camps inside our historic building, welcoming hundreds of children from preschool through 8th grade for weeks full of learning, creativity, and fun.

​

Each camper enjoys diverse, hands-on programming designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. Campers participate in interactive STEM activities made possible through the STEM Scale-Up Program from the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council, along with games, creative projects, and collaborative learning experiences.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, every camper receives healthy snacks and lunch each day, sourced locally through our café partner, Beans & Beignets. They will also get a vibrant camp t-shirt. 

​

We believe every child should have access to enriching summer experiences. Scholarships are available for families within 250% of the Federal Poverty Level, helping ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation.

At Bricker-Price Block, Kids Club camps are designed to be safe, welcoming, and engaging, giving kids a place to make friends, explore new interests, and create lasting summer memories.

What to Expect​

Ages + Grade Levels

​Kids Club Summer Camps are open to children from preschool through 8th grade, with camps designed to be age-appropriate and engaging for each group.

Camp Schedule

​Our camps run as day camps only and take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 2 through August 6.

​

Camp Hours

Camp times vary depending on grade level:

Preschool – 2nd Grade

Camp sessions may run during one of the following times:

• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

3rd – 8th Grade

Camp sessions may run during one of the following times:

• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures

At drop-off, parents or guardians will sign their child in.

Campers will then:

• Fill out a name tag

• Select their lunch for the day

All camp families are required to complete a Medical Information & Release Form, which includes a list of individuals authorized to pick up their child.

At pick-up, an authorized adult must sign the camper out before they are allowed to leave.
